Araucaria Heterophylla (Norfolk Island Pine)
We love the Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla) for its soft, delicate needles and elegant conifer shape. A beautiful indoor tree, it brings a calm, natural presence into any home. Easy to grow, adaptable, and strikingly architectural, this conifer also doubles up as a sustainable alternative to a Christmas tree — stylish, eco-friendly, and reusable year after year.

Native habitat and growth pattern
The Norfolk Island Pine is native to the South Pacific’s Norfolk Island, where it grows as a tall coastal tree. Indoors, it stays much smaller and is easily managed in a pot. Its naturally symmetrical branches are lined with soft green needles, creating a refined, layered look. In the right conditions, it can grow up to 180cm indoors, but keeping it slightly pot-bound helps control its size.
Size
W17cm x H50cm, W21cm nursery pot x H70cm, W30cm x H90cm (double stem). Supplied in a plastic nursery pot.

Humidity:
Loves higher humidity, so mist regularly or use a pebble tray. Keep away from heat sources like radiators.
