Cynanchum Marnierianum - Bundle of Sticks
You don’t often see Cynanchum marnierianum for sale or on display often for obvious reasons its look like bundles of dead twigs but it's a real gem and another rare plant from Central and south-west Madagascar, a country full of unusual plants.
It grows in the arid landscape of dry plateaus and scrub forests and uses its appearance as a dead plant to hide from hungry herbivores. Each October Cynanchum marnierianum burst into flower producing hundreds of small green flowers along each branch that produce wonderful fragrant aromas.
To thrive they need good light and only the very occasional watering, these plants like to be kept dry, treat it like a cactus and you won't go far wrong.

Water regularly during the active growing season. No water should ever be allowed to stand around the roots. Keep completely dry in winter.

Yes, once a month through the summer or March through September.
