We love this succulent for its easy care nature and unusual almost alien-like appearance providing interesting structure and shape. Stapelia leendertziae are typically kept for the stunning star shaped flowers. 

Stapelia leendertziae is a beautiful looking native of Africa, where it grows in scrubland, growing around rocks in wide-open spaces and on cliff edges and does best in bright indirect light.
